Easter Bonnet Parade 2019

On Friday 5th April, we celebrated the end of another great term with our annual Easter Bonnet Parade. The hall was full of chatter as parents took the opportunity to catch up before the curtains opened to reveal an excited stage full of little bunnies! We were treated to renditions of ‘Hot Crossed Buns’, ‘Miss Bunny Looks Funny’ and ‘Hoppity Hoppity Easter Bunnies’ which the children had been practising with Christina in the proceeding weeks. The children amazingly sang goodbye in 4 different languages, before parading around the hall to show off a fantastic and incredibly diverse range of home-crafted bonnets.

After munching on some well-deserved hot crossed buns, the children raced out into the playground to hunt for a flock of tiny chicks which the Easter Bunny had carelessly mislaid! As a reward for rounding them up and being so helpful, the Easter Bunny came to thank them and deliver each child an early chocolate Easter egg.
