GROOMBRIDGE PRE-SCHOOL
Parent/Pre-school Agreement
We at Groombridge pre-school agree
To help the children grow into confident and successful learners by being flexible and accommodating. Our groups are small with a high ratio of staff enabling children to have the individual attention that they need.
We will ensure the children feel safe, secure, valued and comfortable in their surroundings. From this foundation the children will grow in their self-confidence and self esteem.
We will have a varied and stimulating array of activities out each session. All activities are designed to stimulate their imaginations and language development so helping them to problem solve.
We will help the children acquire self-discipline and respect for others. We will cover how to socialise and behave in an appropriate manner with gentle, non-judgemental correction. We have our own set of rules the children know and are reminded of each morning at register through our small posters they see every day.
We will stretch the more able and adapt appropriately for the more needy without the children noticing: making an activity more challenging or easier as necessary.
Our partnership with you, the parents, is very important to us and we will work closely with you through out your time with us. Every child is an individual with its own particular needs. By getting to know the children and their families well we are able to tailor the activities to these needs. We will let you know about your child's progress via tapestry on weekly basis and once every term we will upload an assessment of your child.
If a child is not yet ready for pre-school we reserve the right to delay entry.
You as parents agree
