NAPPY CHANGING POLICY

If your child is still in nappies or pull ups please ensure you provide a bag with spare nappies, nappy sacks, wipes and creams if used and any spare clothing. We also ask parents to ensure that their child arrives in a dry and clean nappy or that they go to the toilet at drop off.

Should a child need changing during the session a member of staff will change them discreetly away from the main hall with a sterilised changing mat. A child will only be changed by a permanent member of staff who holds a current DBS check.

You will be informed at the end of each session of the following:

  • If your child has had his/her nappy changed and the number of times

  • If any marks or rashes are visible

  • If your child has become distressed whilst having their nappy changed

  • Any unusual toilet habits

Please inform a member of staff should your child have any rash or discomfort at the start of the session and any creams that need to be administered.

We will liaise with you regarding potty training as when the time is right for yourself and your child.

Many thanks
