Use of ICT & The Internet

Staff - The only use of ICT with internet access is restricted just to the use of Tapestry our secure online assessment tool. Staff know that it is unacceptable to share this with anyone other than the child's parents or guardian, as per guidance in the staff handbook.

Children - The children do not have access to the internet just some age appropriate educational games already downloaded onto one tablet.

The Taking of Photos and Videos

Only the pre-school camera or Ipads are to be used to take photos of the children.  Photos are only taken as a method of recording progress or pre-school practice and only in the main play areas.

 Permission is sort from the parent or carer on the entry form.

This policy is known, agreed and implemented by all staff.

 This policy is known and made available to parents.
